Friday 7th October – Leicester King Power Stadium

Heath Lane Academy pupils and staff attended the UK University & Apprenticeship search event at The King Power Stadium, Leicester in affiliation with the University of Leicester.  The event was a perfect way for students to choose which university or apprenticeship is right for them. The fair was completely free for all students, staff and guardians to attend. This exciting and informative event provided attendees with the opportunity to speak to a multitude of universities including; Russell Group, red brick, specialist and modern universities. Students were also able to talk to a variety of the UK’s best apprenticeship providers, HE colleges, specialist institutions, and student related organisations. The fair was for students of all abilities and aimed to widen participation as well as cater for higher academic achievers.
